Observations on the most simple, and certain, means of curing the scurvy, : scorbutic eruptions, scrofula or King's evil, leprosy, and other disorders arising from contaminated blood, or obstructed perspiration; with some pertinent remarks on the utility of sea bathing, demonstrating de propriety of taking alternative medicines during that period, and the danger of antimonials or mercurials; giving, at the same time, satisfactory reasons for relying with confidence on the safety and efficacy of De Velno's vegetable pills, exhibiting various, respectable, and indisputable proofs of their success, as an alternative, purifier, and sweetener of the blood; and explaining the found policy, also in some cases the absolute necessity, of taking them for a few weeks every succeeding spring and autumn
